The Debate

Friday afternoon was not only a historic event but a memory for our family as well. We took all three children to Oxford and had such a good time. The weather was beautiful and the atmosphere was exciting and positive as well. I am very proud of Ole Miss and Oxford for a job well done in welcoming these canidates and all the press and people that came along with them. The campus looked amazing and was really something to be proud of. Here are some pictures from our adventure. This first picture shows what it takes for the Dehmers to leave town for less than 24 hours. Here are all three of my babies dressed in their patriotic colors ready to go watch the debate. The Dehmer men walking to the grove. Chris Matthews was doing his show out on the union steps. Dodds got a really good picture of him. Everyone was walking around holding signs and wearing stickers and pins. This made the boys want some really bad. They didn't care what they said they just wanted to have lots of signs and stickers. Ridley found this one on the ground and was so proud! He walked around holding this all night! Like a said, lots of stickers and signs......ALL KINDS!!!!! The ladies! I promise Rimes really was having fun. We even found time for a little football. Josh Kelly who went to Ole Miss and is married to "IZZIE" from "Grey's Anatomy" sang. O.K. their are no words for this one...............
