Dodds blogging. How proud we were of Ridley-man. Nothing gets me in the holiday spirit like Trinity Christmas Program.

Happy Birthday Breck, Jr.!
Not so sure about this cake stuff.

O.K., I'm liking the cake stuff now!

Why is the box always a bigger hit than the toy?

The only way to get these two to look at the camera is to dangle food above their heads!

Look how precious the cake was. Breck loves Baby Einstein so Lyn and her sister Wendy made this cake. The caterpillar is made out of rice crispy balls. It was TOO cute!

Ridley loving Jr.'s toys!

A Christmas card runner up. Yes I finally got one. Now the question is will I have enough time to get them ordered and out before Christmas day arrives? We shall see!

Christmas Card Outakes!
Here are our MANY attempts to get a Christmas card picture. It really could have won America's Funniest Video if it had been recorded. We were in the lobby of the Country Club and Rimes DID NOT want the boys to hold her or touch her. She would scream bloody murder and lash out at them with a scratch or a hit. There were definitely some battle wounds. In the mean time Nash picks up a microphone which we assumed was off because we couldn't hear it working. So after a couple of minutes of pretty horrible pretend singing Breck comes in and informs us that Nash had been giving a LIVE concert to everyone in the dining room. Let's just say CCJ was very happy when the Dehmer's decided to go home......without a Christmas card picture. It's looking like last year....can we say Valentine card...maybe?
Upward Basketball
Nash's basketball season began this past weekend. I love upward. It is such a wonderful program. At the beginning of the game they get announced and get to run through smoke! Dodds is his coach and as you can see Ridley is the self proclaimed assistant coach. He goes to every practice and helps out.

I'm going to be in SO MUCH trouble but.....here goes!

Jenny was in LA a couple of years ago when the show Newlyweds was on. We were both totally obsessed with it. (yes I know, pitiful!) Anyway she saw Jessica Simpsons in some store and asked her if she could get a picture. For those of you who know Jenny well this was HUGE!!! Anyway, I was deleting some old emails and found this one and it just could not go unpublished! Story worked at the Northside Sun at the time and threatened to run it in the paper. So, Jen....you got off easy. Love you...please don't be mad.
**I even added a Jessica Simpson tune so you can get the full effect!

Are you kidding me?

Nash and Ridley got to sit in the Rebel Club with Jett and Scoot for the game today. You would have though that Ridley WAS NOT an Ole Miss fan by the looks of this picture, Yes, he actually fell asleep. Breck took this picture with his phone and emailed it to me. It's classic. We had a great Thanksgiving in Oxford....minus an incident with a mouse!!!(I'll leave it to your imagination!) Thanks Papa Joe and Dot-t for inviting the Griswold's to Oxford. Happy Thanksgiving.......we are very blessed!

Happy Birthday Rimsey-Roo!!!!
Today my LAST baby turned one. Mt sweet baby girl woke up to her crazy family singing and videoing(probably not a word) her while she sat in her bed. We had her presents waiting for her when she came downstairs. I will post more pictures when I'm not trying to cook for Thanksgiving! Her party is Sunday and let's just say there is a BIG, pink, fluffy tutu involved!

Squanto Day
OK all you JA alums.....do you remember reading Squanto: Friend of the Pilgrims when we were in the second grade? Well guess what? Nash just finished reading it too. They got to pick their favorite character and dress like them. Nash picked Brother Diego(a man of the church) who helped Squanto. Most of the kids were Pilgrims and Indians but Nash said he wanted to be something different than everyone else. I love it! Each second grade classroom was a different location from the book and had the food that represented that place. Mrs. Lohmeier's class was London. I had to send homeade bread(homemade by Great Harvest Bread Company) and plum jam. Yum! Yum!

Mexican Night!
After the Little Dribbler's performance we all went to go eat at Margaritas. This was such a special occasion because Dodds does not enjoy Mexican food and I LOVE it. Ridley and my dad rolled in from Oxford just in time to meet us. You have never seen such a happy little boy. When my grandmother asked him what his favorite part of the trip was he said, "Bringing Nash back a hat.". My heart melts for that child!
Time Warp!
Chilly day!

The only way to travel to Oxford!
Ridley is on his way to see the Rebels play with Scoot.(my dad) Nash has a Little Dribblers performance tonight so he couldn't go. I am so glad Ridley gets an oppurtunity to do this. As the middle child this doesn't happen very often! This is a picture of him with his 3-D glasses on ready to watch Journey to the Center of the Earth in Scoot's new car! He is THRILLED!

Poked and Prodded!
Ridley went to the allergist today and was tested for allergies. It really was not fun watching him get pricked a dozen times in the back. Afterwards we had to wait five minutes before the doctor came in. Poor thing was miserable and wanted to itch SO bad but couldn't until the doctor had looked at the pricks. We finally saw him and he determined Ridley is HIGHLY allergic to dogs and cats,(what a bummer!) dust and dander. He is also moderately allergic to grass and trees. We do not have to do shots for the time being but we are on a strict regimen of medicines. I hope they make him feel better. the picture of his back does not do it any justice because the swelling had gone down.
I asked him to make a face that described what it felt like and this is what I got!

Hotty Toddy!

Well, The Rebs beat the Tigers! My three boys were on hand to witness it. They drove up with the Galloways and had a great time. In the mean time Rimes and I were at home dealing with her temp of 104. She has a viral sore throat. I am thankful they had a good time and made it home safely! I forgot to send the camera so Dodds took some pics with his phone.

Happy Halloween!
The Rhoden Girls

Nash and Reed Kellum(DANGEROUS!)

Daddy and two of his babies. Rimes is LOVING her daddy these days.

Ridley's ready to go!

The Original Hayride Gang. We picked up a lot of stragglers along the way!

My three babies.

The Gang!

We had such a fun night with our friends. We had some of the neighborhood over to our house for "food and fun" and then Rus Sykes was kind enough to pull all of the kids on a hayride to trick or treat. As always it was crazy and chaotic but tons of fun and definitely a memory!
